OUR PROGRAMS
The Glow Project offers 3 different programs, including a weekday program (1 day or 2 days), and a fortnightly Saturday program. All programs run for 48 weeks of the year and are only shut down for 4 weeks over the summer period, where individual supports will still be available if required. All of our programs are based around inclusion and building social relationships with like-minded individuals (including regular community access), whilst focusing on a whole range of different projects and activities.
WEEKDAY
PROGRAM
Our day program is a female only program targeted for young women within the Ballarat community, aged 16 to 35 years old. We aim to build on our participants confidence and skillset in the hopes to increase their independence, whilst ensuring we have a lot of fun. The participant will spend 1 or 2 (or more if required) days a week at The Glow Project with different road trips scheduled every 4 weeks, to places like Melbourne, Geelong, and Torquay. Our weekday program is focused around improving our clients’ social involvement, whilst teaching them new activities and life skills along the way.

SATURDAY
PROGRAM
The Glow Project also offer Saturday supports (fortnightly or monthly) to school aged participants that may not be available during the week. Our weekend supports include road trips to areas such as Melton Wave Pool, Melbourne Aquarium, and other community-based outings. We also utilise our home base for social activities such a cooking, baking and arts and crafts. Our Saturday program is structured the same as our weekday program to provide school-aged participants the same opportunities for fun and socialisation.
RESPITE
SERVICES
The Glow Project offers the opportunity for respite services, to give our participants a holiday-like experience or a ‘home away from home’. Whilst our home base is fully equipped to provide respite services, we have also enjoyed venturing out to areas such as Phillip Island and Anglesea in our previous respites.
